Strawberry Moon and Newhaven Lighthouse
Newhaven Lighthouse, Newhaven, East Sussex
The Strawberry Moon rises above the horizon beside Newhaven Lighthouse, its warm colour sitting against the cooler blue of the sea and evening sky. The lighthouse holds the right side of the frame, its bright lamp reflecting across the water while the moon leaves a softer golden path of its own. Between the two lights, the scene is balanced by contrast — natural and man-made, warm and cool, distant and fixed.
