Bembridge Pier
Bembridge Pier, Bembridge, Isle of Wight
The lifeboat station at Bembridge Pier sits out against a quiet horizon, its structure holding sharp against the softened water below. The long exposure strips the sea back to a smooth surface, removing movement until only tone and form remain. The sky stays subdued, layered in pale greys with a slight warmth near the horizon. That tone carries through the water, keeping everything connected. There’s very little competing here — just space, balance, and a stillness that settles in the longer you look.
