All That Remains
Newhaven Harbour, Newhaven, East Sussex
At the edge of the Sussex coast in Newhaven, the remains of an old jetty sit out in the water beneath a pale sky. What was once a solid structure has been reduced over time to scattered posts, worn down by years of tide and weather, but still holding their place. Shot as a long exposure, the sea softens completely, IVE ADDED THESE WORDS HERE losing all movement and detail. What’s left is space, stillness, and just enough structure to hint at what used to stand here. It’s less about the jetty itself, and more about what’s been stripped away.
